Hotels in Serbia, prices in Serbian hotels

Hotels in Serbia and accommodation in Serbia: booking of hotels in Serbia and useful information about Serbian hotels are available on this page.

Hotels in Serbia: expensive, cheap, built and abandoned. Holidays in Serbia are still very different. Despite the fact that during the last five years Serbia demonstrates stable economic growth, tourism infrastructure has still not recovered after the war in the Balkans. Hotels in Belgrade is the litmus test, which can present the image of the hotel industry in whole Serbia. In Belgrade, despite availability of many large hotel operators, a large number of hotels are still abandoned. Block gray buildings with a minimum of amenities, preserved from Yugoslavian period, are still waiting for their turn to be bought and upgraded. And still, many of these hotels in Belgrade are actively used. They are offered to the tourists as budget 3-room hotels.

Serbia is still not fully recovered from the effects of war, and it is evidenced by the fact of hot water cutoffs in rooms of Serbian hotels. Hotels in Belgrade suffer less, but in almost all provincial hotels in Serbia at the reception are available schedules of water cutoffs.

After Montenegro split from Serbia, Serbia became a landlocked country. Resorts on the Adriatic coast now belong to Montenegro. Serbia preserved alpine skiing, informative, eventual and wellness tourism. Hotels in Kopaonik, the most famous ski resort in Serbia, can be compared by the quality and range with ski hotels in Slovakia or Bulgaria. There are more or less large 1*- 3* hotels, as well as small hotels and villas 4-5*.

Spas in Serbia are presented by numerous Baths: Selters Bath, Mataruzka Bath, Ribarska Bath, Vrnjacka Bath, Nishka Bath. Health-improving resorts in Serbia, which were inherited from Yugoslavia, can offer quality treatment. Accommodation at the resorts is often more expensive than staying in hotel near the resort.
Prices for hotels in Serbia have grown in recent years. On average a good room costs from 20-30 euros per night depending on season.

In Serbia there are many motels. The country could have become a haven for the travelers if it is not for the poor quality of roads. Nevertheless, those, who are not afraid of difficulties, will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of motorway service in Serbia. There is no jacuzzi, but tourists can count on spacious rooms, comfortable beds, clean linen, nourishing cheap food and sometimes even plasma TV in the room. That is a set of services, which car tourists can receive in a motel for 30 euros on the roadside of the Belgrade-Novi Sad highway.
