Casalborsetti is the northernmost of Ravenna’s nine seaside resorts and lies about 15 kilometres from the historic city centre. The resort is located on the edge of the Parco del Delta del Po. The landscape includes active dunes and coastal pine forests with Pinus pinaster and Pinus pinea. There are also consolidated relic dunes north of the Lamone. Fossil dunes dating back to the 16th-century coastline have been preserved near Casalborsetti. Their size and state of preservation make the dunes particularly striking. The coastal landscape brings together different dune formations and pine forests.

Casalborsetti has a wide public beach. Several beach clubs are set up to welcome dogs. If you are travelling with a dog, it is best to check the current conditions with the beach club in advance. The resort also has a small, well-equipped tourist marina.

Via Romea Germanica and Sports Facilities

Stage 23 of the Via Romea Germanica runs from Casalborsetti to Ravenna and passes through the Pineta di San Vitale. For several kilometres, the route follows unpaved paths through quiet woodland. After crossing a bridge, one section continues for several kilometres along a cycle path on the right bank of the river. The stage therefore includes route sections with different descriptions. Casal B Sport also offers adults and children individual or group lessons in padel and pickleball with certified coaches.
