Lido Di Dante lies between the mouth of the Fiumi Uniti and the historic Pineta di Classe. The town is also within the protected area of Parco del Delta del Po. Nature experiences are central to planning your visit: a longer walk along the river embankments, trails for various activities, and access to designated natural areas.

Landscape and Access

Pineta Ramazzotti stretches between Lido Di Dante and the mouth of the Torrente Bevano. It is open to the public; access is regulated and coordinated by the Carabinieri Forestali. Access rules may change seasonally. Different restrictions may also apply depending on the season at the access point to the mouth of the Torrente Bevano. If you plan to visit these places, follow the access conditions in force at the time.

You can reach the Bassona Nature Reserve on foot from Lido Di Dante, either along the beach or through the pine forest. The area around the Bassona Nature Reserve is officially recognized by the Municipality of Ravenna for naturism. Two distinct aspects are therefore important for finding your way around: the walking routes described to the protected area and the officially recognized naturist practice in its surroundings.

Walks and Active Routes

A walking route almost nine kilometres long connects Lido Di Dante to Ravenna along the Fiumi Uniti river embankments. Its approximate length and the two named endpoints make it easy to factor into your day’s plans. It differs from the Pineta di Classe – Salina di Cervia route, which can also be reached from Lido Di Dante. This route offers attractive trails for walking, cycling and horseback riding.

The two routes have different focuses: the walking route follows the river embankments to Ravenna, while the Pineta di Classe – Salina di Cervia route offers several possible activities. Conditions on this route may change. If you plan to use it, check the current route conditions in advance. This lets you choose a route based on your planned activity without combining the two routes into a single connection.

Visitor Centre and Summer Market

The Bevanella Visitor Centre houses an interactive museum about the area’s geological development and the region’s drainage systems. In August 2026, the visitor centre was temporarily closed. As its status may change, check current access information before visiting.

Another seasonal offering is the Lido Di Dante market on Viale Catone. It takes place on Thursday afternoons in summer; the stalls sell fruit, vegetables, clothing and food. You can include the market as a summer activity during your stay, while access to Pineta Ramazzotti and the mouth of the Torrente Bevano remains subject to its own seasonal rules.
