The “Alpeggi alle pendici del Lagorai” route has a different seasonal focus: it is suitable for outings on warm summer days and for snowshoe hikes in winter. Historic paths and traditional architecture
The “Sover e le sue frazioni” route connects Sover, Piscine, Monte Alto and Montesover. In Montesover, it passes through open, elevated areas above the valley; the village lies at an altitude of 1,130 metres. The Grauno–Grumes–Sover–Piscine route has a different focus: along it, you can see or visit several old lime kilns, water-powered mills and forges. The route also includes the gorge of the Avisio River, which is considered untouched, wild and untamed.
The Grauno–Grumes–Sover–Piscine route also has a history of everyday use: as a historic trade route, it served small-scale trade with Sover, Montesover and Piscine, as well as visits to friends or relatives on the other side of the river. The path from Montesover to Facendi follows an ancient paved route, a “salesà ”, which served for many years as an access road to Montesover. Current trail conditions may vary. The third stage of the Cammino delle Terre Sospese also recommends visiting the church in Montesover.

Surroundings and local character
Above Piscine di Sover, Maso Montealto offers views across the entire Val di Cembra, from Grauno to Albiano, as well as of the mountains around Trento. Montealto and Carnedo preserve traditional Trentino architecture, with wooden balconies and masonry of exposed stone. Montesover itself is a small alpine centre on the edge of the forest, specialising in raspberry and mushroom gathering. Together, these village scenes and local features offer different insights into the region.
