For a trip to Loria, you can focus on several different attractions: the “Sui Sentieri degli Ezzelini” tourist cycling and walking route, a nature park on the old riverbed of the Muson, and the Monumento ai Caduti in Bessica. For its 2026 edition, the Fiera Bessica programme adds a craft area and an exhibition of agricultural models. This lets you factor outdoor activities, landscapes and culture into your travel plans.

A cycling and walking route through several municipalities

The “Sui Sentieri degli Ezzelini” tourist itinerary is 40 kilometres long in total and is designed for cycling and walking. It runs mainly along the Torrente Muson and partly along the Musonello. The route passes through Riese Pio X, Loria, Castello di Godego, Castelfranco Veneto, Resana, Crespano del Grappa, Paderno del Grappa, Fonte and Asolo. Loria is therefore one of several places along a route that crosses municipal boundaries. The stated length, permitted uses and course describe the scope of the itinerary: its focus is a route, not just a single destination in Loria. This is a different focus from visiting the Monumento ai Caduti in Bessica, which is located in one specific place.

Nature park and orientation along the Muson

Loria also has a nature park on the old riverbed of the Muson. North of Parco sul Muson, there is a municipal car park providing access to the walking trail; it can be reached via an unpaved access road from Via Monte Santo. Note that the access road is unpaved; check local conditions before setting out.

The Monumento ai Caduti in Bessica

In Bessica, the Monumento ai Caduti stands in a green space opposite the Chiesa Arcipretale di San Giovanni Battista. Its base is made of rough stone with white marble slabs; a rocky structure with four sculptural elements stands on the base. The monument was inaugurated in 1924 and restored in 2018, when missing parts were also replaced. The inauguration and restoration mark two distinct phases in its history, while the materials and four elements describe its physical structure. The cross-shaped memorial plaque bears the names of soldiers who died in the First World War. Three further plaques name the missing, those who fell for their country, and the civilians who died in the war from 1940 to 1945. The inscriptions thus distinguish between several groups and two wartime periods.

Events at the Fiera Bessica

For its 2026 edition, the Fiera Bessica programme lists an Area Artigianato in the multipurpose area behind the church. The programme also includes an exhibition of agricultural models at Villa Baroni. One offering is dedicated to crafts, the other to agriculture; they are also held at different venues. These details relate to a specific edition of the fair and add a programme-based theme to the permanent natural and memorial sites. If you want to plan your trip around the event, check the dates for the relevant edition.
