North Eleuthera: Surf, Caves and History
Accommodation in North Eleuthera
Surfer’s Beach gives North Eleuthera a distinctive character: southwest winds create Atlantic swells there, while the beach also offers a long stretch of soft, white sand. The region brings together beach days, striking natural attractions and excursions with historical connections, catering to a range of travel interests.
Beaches and the Sea
Surfer’s Beach is located two miles south of Gregory Town. The beach has a two-mile stretch of especially soft, white sand. The details about its location and length describe two different distances: how far south it is from Gregory Town and the extent of the sandy stretch. Southwest winds bring Atlantic swells here.
Gaulding Cay Beach is also a destination for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. Its crystal-clear water offers views of rays and fish. Twin Sisters Beach also offers several activities to choose from: swimming, walking, snorkeling and shell collecting. This makes it easy to include beaches with different highlights in your travel plans.
