Pasito Blanco
Accommodation in Pasito Blanco
If you are considering Pasito Blanco as a destination for a hotel stay, there are several points of interest to help you decide: Playa de Pasito Blanco (El Hornillo), Puerto Deportivo Pasito Blanco and activities on the water. Each offers a different focus. You can assess the beach by its length and surface; at the harbour, boat trips and private excursions take centre stage. There are also seasonal activities, deep-sea fishing and a dive site south of the harbour. Which of these matters to you depends on your interests.
Beach and coastline
Playa de Pasito Blanco (El Hornillo) stretches for 450 metres. Its surface consists of fine sand, pebbles and rocks. Calm bathing waters are a feature of the beach, although actual sea conditions can vary. This gives you two aspects to consider when choosing a destination: the length of the beach and the nature of its surface. If you compare Pasito Blanco with other beach destinations, both features offer a more precise picture than a general idea of a sandy beach.
Harbour and boat trips
Puerto Deportivo Pasito Blanco is open year-round. Visitor and mooring arrangements may change, so check the conditions if you are planning a harbour visit. Boat options include boats that do not require a licence, larger boats for which a licence is required, and private excursions with a skipper and crew. The options therefore differ in terms of licensing requirements and type of trip. Operators and fleet options may change, so it is a good idea to check the specific options with the provider before making plans.
Seasonal activities and deep-sea fishing
The Pasito Blanco Summer Campus is for children aged 7 to 15 and takes place at Puerto Deportivo Pasito Blanco in San Bartolomé de Tirajana. In 2026, the seasonal programme includes sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, banana boat rides, beach games and activities in the sea. The campus is therefore a seasonal offering for a specific age group, while the harbour’s offerings also include boats and private excursions. If you are interested in a future edition, check the programme again.
Deep-sea fishing trips depart from Pasito Blanco and target tuna, swordfish and blue marlin. Target species and providers may vary by season, so it is worth checking the current options if you are making specific plans. Pasito Blanco’s traditional deep-sea fishing competition has been held 37 times since it began. As well as fishing trips, competitions are therefore part of the town’s deep-sea fishing tradition.
One mile south of the harbour, in a sandy area, lies Baja de Pasito Blanco, which is highly regarded by divers. If you would like to dive there, check the local access conditions beforehand. Baja de Pasito Blanco is therefore a point of interest in its own right for diving enthusiasts, while the beach and harbour represent other aspects of the area’s water-based offerings.
Restaurant and beach club
La Punta Yacht Club combines a restaurant and a beach club at Puerto Deportivo Pasito Blanco. The restaurant serves, among other things, traditional papas arrugadas, rice dishes, meat and fish; its cuisine includes local, national and international dishes. The menu may change. Restaurant and beach club operations may also change, so check the latest information in advance if you are planning a visit to La Punta.
