The municipality has 160 hectares of vineyards; agricultural land can change over time. Two Heurigen wine taverns and the winemakers’ group in the historic, listed Meierhof contribute to the local dining scene. The annual “JungWEIN und WildSCHWEIN” young-wine tasting offers an opportunity to sample wines from Groß-Schweinbarth. The “Open Cellar Door Day” is another opportunity to taste wine.
