Hiking, cycling and Romanesque architecture offer specific themes to explore on a trip to Gondolići. Several named routes pass through the town or reach it; other natural and cultural attractions are nearby. If you are looking for a hotel for a stay in Gondolići, you can plan your trip around hiking, cycling or historic buildings. The hiking trails differ both in the places listed along their routes and in their stated lengths.

Hiking trails and route lengths

The Istrian Hiking Trail reaches Gondolići from the Labin–Prtlog road before turning towards Skitača. Two other hiking trails pass through the town: Staza Svetog Justa follows the Labin–Gondolići–Rabac route, while Staza Terra Magica follows the Rabac–Prtlog–Gondolići–Rabac sequence. Conditions on the Istrian Hiking Trail may change; check the latest conditions before setting out.

The places along the routes also distinguish the two hikes: on Staza Svetog Justa, Gondolići lies between Labin and Rabac. On Staza Terra Magica, Rabac is at both the start and end of the listed route, with Prtlog before Gondolići. Staza Svetog Justa is 6.8 kilometres long, while Staza Terra Magica measures 13.3 kilometres. The difference is 6.5 kilometres, making Terra Magica almost twice as long. Both the places along the routes and their lengths can therefore help you compare the hiking options.

Landscape and hiking trail

The nearby Terra Magica area includes a holm oak forest designated as a protected landscape. The Labin–Rabac–Prklog hiking trail also runs within a protected landscape. This trail includes a clear, cold stream, crossed at around ten points via wooden footbridges. The two protected-landscape designations are distinct: the holm oak forest itself is designated as a protected landscape, while the hiking trail lies within one. Water levels and trail conditions vary seasonally. Conditions along the surrounding trails may also change, so it is advisable to check the latest information before setting out.

These are two distinct Romanesque landmarks: St. Gall is associated with Gondolići, while St. Hadrian is represented by visible church remains beside the old road. Chronologically, St. Gall dates to the 13th century, while St. Hadrian may date from the 12th century as well.

Trail surfaces and signage may change, so it is advisable to check the latest information before setting out.
