Discover Slavica
Accommodation in Slavica
When planning a trip to Slavica, the focus is on hiking trails and stone traces along the old Karolina Road. The routes vary in difficulty, course, and destination, allowing you to plan your outings accordingly.
Routes in Slavica: Difficulty and Course
The Fajeri Route is a moderately challenging outdoor option. A long ascent at the beginning is followed by a steeper descent into Donja Slavica. Weather and ground conditions can affect the level of difficulty. Take conditions into account when planning before setting out.
A short hiking trail leads toward Velika Slavica. This is distinct from the Fajeri Trek from Vrata to Donja Slavica: it combines paved sections with forest gravel roads, runs below Velika Slavica, and follows the old Karolina Road toward Donja Slavica and Vrata. Trail conditions may change seasonally; check current conditions before setting out.
There are therefore different route profiles to choose from: a short trail toward Velika Slavica, or the moderately challenging Fajeri Route with its long initial ascent and steeper descent. The difficulty and course are the key points of comparison.
Stone Traces Along the Karolina Road
An approximately 2 km extension of the route from the reservoir leads to the stone settlement remains of Gornja Slavica and on to Fajeri. There, the stone remains of an old bridge on the Karolina Road can be found. Access to the relics may depend on trail and ground conditions.
