If you are looking for a hotel in Miloslavov, these themes can help you tailor your visit to your interests.
Historic Buildings and Bell Towers
The former church building on Námestie sv. Alžbety is Miloslavov’s oldest historic monument. It was built as a church dedicated to Saint Elizabeth of Thuringia no later than the early 14th century and is now used as Podunajský remeselný dvor. Here, the history of the building meets traditional crafts.
At PodunajskĂ˝ remeselnĂ˝ dvor, blacksmiths, woodcarvers, weavers and potters from the surrounding area regularly demonstrate their crafts using original tools. They pass their skills on to future generations. Individual visits are possible from April to October, on Saturdays and Sundays from 14:00 to 16:00. As visiting hours are seasonal, it is advisable to check them before travelling. You should also confirm the demonstration programme before your visit.
The Alžbetin Dvor bell tower in Alžbetin Park was built by local residents in 1947. Its design was based on a wind pump built by the farmer Jirsák. It formerly served as a death bell and a fire-warning signal. Distinct from it is the Miloslavov bell tower in Sadová Park: settlers built it in 1935 as the first steel tower of its kind. The two towers therefore represent different construction methods and periods in the town’s history.
Memorial Sites and Religious Life
A monument marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the municipality of Miloslavov was erected near LipovĂ˝ Park in 2021. The founding assembly of the settlers of the Anna Majer colony took place at the Miloslavov memorial fountain on 29 June 1921. The colony was later renamed Miloslavov. The monument and the memorial fountain commemorate the origins of the municipality in different ways. The Baptist prayer house in Miloslavov was formally opened on 7 November 1926.
Regular Roman Catholic services are scheduled at the Church of Divine Mercy in AlĹľbetin Dvor: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 18:00, Saturdays at 7:30, and Sundays at 7:30 and 10:30. If you would like to plan your visit around a service, check the current service schedule in advance.
Nature Trail and Cycling Route
The approximately 500-metre-long NáuÄŤnĂ˝ chodnĂk Miloslavov starts at the ramp on the corner of JuĹľná and Agátová in AlĹľbetin Dvor. Five information panels cover the seasons, local trees, an animal-tracks maze, flowers, and parents and their young. The trail thus offers a distinct way to explore nature, alongside the town’s historic sites. Check local conditions before your walk.
A new cycling route was formally opened in June 2026. It directly connects Dunajská Lužná with Miloslavov’s Alžbetin Dvor district. It is advisable to check route conditions before setting off.
