The Mojmírovce Regional Museum is housed in the renovated Letohrádek Aldobrandini, also known as the “small manor house.” The manor house in Mojmírovce was built in 1721 in the late Baroque style and remodelled in the Neoclassical style after a fire in 1866. It can be reached from Nitra via Ivanka pri Nitre; it is 14 kilometres from Nitra.

Hiking Trails, Views and Outdoor Activities

Mount Zobor has a dense network of marked hiking trails. In winter, recreational skiing and sledging are possible there; these activities depend on conditions. Marked Slovak Tourist Club hiking trails also pass through Zobor Monastery. Check the trail markings and access routes before setting out. You can follow the marked Cyril and Methodius Route in the Nitra region on foot or by bicycle; its trail network may expand or change over time.

Nitra Calvary is a limestone hill with a viewpoint overlooking the city. Its southern face serves as a climbing crag and is home to the rediscovered Demetera Horvátha limestone cave. The ruins of the Forgáč family castle can be reached from Jelenec, in the Remitáž district; from Kostoľany pod Tribečom, a hike of about 45 minutes along marked trails leads there.
