Street art and an easy circular walk offer two clear ways to explore Ferrals-Les-Corbières. The SPIKTRI Street Art Universe focuses on art, while La Boucle du Lauza offers a walking route. Other specific activities include trout fishing at the Ferrals fishing lake and wine tastings.

Street Art at SPIKTRI

The SPIKTRI Street Art Universe is housed in a former wine cooperative cellar. More than 2,500 works of art, including graffiti, paintings and sculptures, can be seen along a 2.5-kilometre gallery. The full visit takes you through three buildings and 18 planets imagined by the artist, and lasts an average of about two and a half hours. Graffiti workshops and visits with children

SPIKTRI offers two-hour graffiti workshops. The program covers the history of graffiti, developing ideas, materials and basic techniques, as well as creating your own artwork. Combining background, idea development and hands-on creation takes the experience beyond simply viewing the art. Hiking the Boucle du Lauza

If you would rather plan a marked walking route, La Boucle du Lauza starts in Ferrals-les-Corbières. It is 7.3 kilometres long, rated easy and takes an average of about two hours. Along the way, you will see dry-stone walls and terraces, wild or cultivated fruit trees, and vineyards; the route also includes a viewpoint with an orientation table. Dry-stone walls are built from stones laid without mortar; terraces are stepped areas of land. These terms help you distinguish these shaped landscape features from fruit trees and vineyards.

To compare the time needed for the two main activities, you can use the average durations: about two hours for La Boucle du Lauza and about two and a half hours for a full visit to SPIKTRI. This gives you a choice between an easy hike and a multi-hour art visit, each with a different time commitment.

Trout fishing and wine tasting

At the Ferrals fishing lake, the Amicale Ferralaise de Pêche welcomes trout anglers. Orfée – Cave de Graffan offers tastings of wines from the AOC Corbières and Corbières Boutenac appellations. The two activities offer different experiences: trout fishing is the focus at the lake, while Orfée offers tastings of wines from two appellations.
