Maizières-Lès-Metz combines green spaces and paths with leisure and cultural activities. This makes it easy to identify what matters most to you before choosing a hotel for your stay.

Paths, ponds and exercise

Parc de Brieux covers 50 hectares and includes seven ponds. The park’s many paths can be used for walking, running or cycling. There is also a fitness trail, which allows you to walk at your own pace. Permanent orienteering courses complement the park’s facilities. With its varied uses, Parc de Brieux is a versatile destination for outdoor exercise: the paths are described as suitable for several activities, while the fitness trail explicitly focuses on walking at your own pace.

Parc Dany-Mathieu has a different focus: its landscape, ecological and biological heritage is to be protected. The two parks therefore have different priorities—Parc de Brieux focuses on paths and opportunities for exercise, while Parc Dany-Mathieu focuses on preserving this heritage.

Leisure and water activities

Walygator Grand Est offers water attractions, thrill rides and family attractions. Listed attractions include Dino-Raft, Anaconda, Canyon City Express, Comet and Far West Tour. The selection of attractions may change. If particular offerings are important to your plans, check the park information before your visit. Equipped picnic areas are also available in the park; their facilities may change.

Piscine Plein Soleil offers aqua aerobics, aquabiking, lessons for children and adults, and a swimming school. Its activities range from water-based exercise to lessons for different age groups. For trips with children, the family attractions at Walygator Grand Est and the children’s lessons at the swimming pool offer two different options. When planning, you can consider whether an amusement park, water activities or both are a better fit for your trip.
