Hiking routes and landscapes in Stoltebüll
Stoltebüll offers eight named hiking routes, including the Thingplatz Loop, Forest Loop, Renaturation Trail, End Moraine Trail and Gulde Loop. The routes are 1.8 to 5.6 kilometres long, with walking times ranging from about 30 minutes to two hours. Most of the trails are easy to walk. Distance and walking time help with two different decisions: which route length suits you, and how much time would you like to set aside? The rating of most routes as easy adds information about the trails’ level of difficulty. For planning, the range shows whether you might prefer a short walk or a hike that allows for more time.
Along the trails, farmland and pastures meet small woods and historic hedgerows; the terrain is gently undulating. Wide-open skies and quiet places to rest are also part of the landscape. Named highlights include Thingplatz, the Graukjer renaturation area and Drülter Forest. This means you can make your choice based not only on distance and time, but also on landscape features and the named highlights.
A visit to Angeliter Brewery
Another place to visit is Angeliter Brewery at Schörderup 12. It has a factory shop, and visits are possible by prior arrangement. As opening hours may change, confirm the current hours when arranging your visit. Different information can therefore help with your planning: for the hiking trails, consider the distance and approximate walking time; for a brewery visit, bear in mind that you need to arrange it in advance and that opening hours can change. If you would like to include both in your travel plans, arrange the visit separately.
