Church and remembrance

The Great St Teresa Church is a listed Roman Catholic church built around 1778 in the Baroque style. The altarpieces were created by Dorfmeister, and the dome is decorated with frescoes by Franz Xaver Bucher. These artistic features can be distinguished in two different parts of the church: the altarpieces and the dome.

A different aspect of local history is commemorated by the memorial to those who died in the First and Second World Wars. The memorial is built of brick and shaped like an archway. Its commemorative plaque bears the names of local war dead. The church and the memorial offer different ways to explore cultural history: the church through its Baroque style and paintings, and the memorial through its remembrance of local war dead.
