Gravel Pit Lake: fishing spots and facilities along the shore
There are more than 30 constructed fishing spots at Püspökmolnári Gravel Pit Lake. They are adapted to the terrain and surfaced with gravel. Where there are differences in elevation between the bank slope and a fishing spot, steps have also been built into the terrain. This means that both the surface and the local terrain conditions are relevant when finding your way around the lake.
Wooden seating areas with tables and benches, individual benches, fire pits, and waste bins are located along the shore and on the peninsula. If you are planning to use specific facilities during your stay, check their current condition before your visit.
Bell towers and landmarks in the village
The Püspöki harangláb stands at the corner of Petőfi Sándor utca and Dózsa György utca. The Szenttamási harangláb is next to the prayer house of the Püspökmolnári Evangelical congregation. The two bell towers are associated with different local landmarks: one is identified by a street corner, the other by the neighboring prayer house.
At the edge of the village, the Százéves hársfa is now an important landmark. The path beside it leads to Pápai-öntés, which is used as a beach, and to the Molnári fishing huts.
