Culture in Wervershoof: Windmill and Museum

The Theo Koomen Museum can be visited in combination with a windmill tour. Its exhibition, “Theo Koomen, zo was er maar ien,” features numerous photos, newspaper articles, personal belongings, visual materials, and audio recordings from Theo Koomen’s life—from his birth in 1929 to his death in 1984.
During windmill season, the museum is open Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 16:00. Windmill season runs from opening day in April until the end of September. Groups of more than ten people can arrange an appointment to visit the windmill and exhibition on other days. Check opening times and appointment options in advance if you’re planning a museum visit.
