Cascades on the Krępa

The Pięćmorgi Cascades are water impoundments on the highly meandering Krępa. A path running halfway up the steep slope offers views of the flooded areas and the river bends. This attraction therefore offers two perspectives: the impoundments themselves and the view of the river’s course. Lake Krokwiki Wielkie is near Pięćmorgi. It is a different kind of water attraction from the cascades: a lake near the village rather than water impoundments on the meandering Krępa. You can then decide whether you would rather focus on the lake or on the combination of the river’s course and the cascades during your stay.

Forest trails to the cascades

In 2019, a local excursion went from lower Pięćmorgi to the so-called cascades via forest trails with slopes and uneven ground. Night skies and a pilot event

At Gwiezdne Lądowisko Pięćmorgi, far from city lights, many more stars can be seen; in favorable conditions, the Milky Way may also be visible. This view depends on the conditions and cannot be guaranteed every night. At a pilot event, participants observed the night sky using telescopes and binoculars. They also learned more about astrotourism, dark-sky protection and the effects of light pollution. Observing with equipment was part of this pilot event; do not count on it as a regular public program. This distinguishes the dark sky as a landscape attraction from an organized stargazing offer.
