In Krzyszkowice, the manor and park complex, two chapels and the cemetery by St. Anne’s Parish Church are among the town’s historic landmarks.

Manor complex and park in the townscape

The manor and park complex lies in the central part of Krzyszkowice, a few hundred metres west of St. Anne’s Parish Church. The present-day manor house in the complex was built around 2013. In June 2020, the three ponds east of the manor complex were once again clearly visible. The newer manor house and a park layout based on historical maps thus represent different periods in the history of the ensemble.

Chapels and cemetery

Krzyszkowice has a stone chapel dedicated to Saint Florian, endowed by Andrzej and Katarzyna Salowie in 1883. At the entrance to the park stands a wooden chapel dedicated to Saint John of Nepomuk, built on a masonry plinth. Their dedications and different materials make the two chapels easy to distinguish.

The cemetery by St. Anne’s Church was established and consecrated in 1886. The grave of priest and professor Władysław Wicher is located there. In January 1937, the remains of Augusta de Montléart were transferred to the local cemetery in Krzyszkowice. The dates point to different stages in the cemetery’s history: its establishment and consecration in the 19th century, and the transfer of the remains in the 20th century.
