Accommodation in Lubikowo
Several hiking and cycling routes pass through Lubikowo; Lake Lubikowskie lies to the southwest of the town. When planning your trip, you can choose different focuses: walking or cycling routes, the lakeside landscape, or activities on the water. If you are looking for a hotel for your trip, first consider which of these interests you want to shape your days.
Hiking and Cycling Routes

Lake Lubikowskie and Konwaliowa Island
Lake Lubikowskie lies southwest of Lubikowo, covers 314.7 hectares and is up to 36 metres deep. Measurements may vary slightly depending on the survey method. Konwaliowa Island, covering 4.4 hectares, lies in the southeastern part of the lake. It is a nature reserve as well as a protected forest and landscape area. The lake lies within the protected zone of Pszczew Landscape Park; its waters are therefore subject to special protection.
The reserve protects a natural stand of old oak trees and the associated plant community. Extensive reed beds, which provide nesting grounds for waterfowl, are also part of the valuable landscape. In the island’s shallow northern shore zone are boulders more than two metres in diameter. These features show different aspects of the protected area: old-growth trees, reed beds and distinctive stones in shallow water.
Water Activities and Nature Watching
At Lake Lubikowskie, the sandy bottom and shallows extending up to 150 metres from the shore provide suitable conditions for windsurfing. The particularly hard, sandy lakebed and gently sloping banks are also suitable for relaxing on the beach and swimming. Sailing regattas are held on the lake every year on the last weekend of August. Check the specific event dates before your trip.
Wildlife is also part of the character of Konwaliowa Island: a white-tailed eagle often visits to rest or prepare to hunt. Wildlife sightings are naturally variable and cannot be guaranteed. The annual regatta and the possibility of seeing an eagle appeal to different interests; you can therefore make either one a focus of your trip planning.
