Leisure trails and longer routes
Kluczbork has three marked and signposted leisure trails for runners, cyclists, Nordic walkers and pedestrians. The shortest is 1 km long; the “Kluczborska Piątka” measures 5 km and the “Kluczborska Dycha” 10 km. The distances of 1, 5 and 10 km are easy to compare. Your choice of trail therefore depends first on the distance you want to cover and the activity you prefer.
Other routes are identified by colors and the places listed along them. The 44 km yellow route, “Szlakiem dawnego rzemiosła i pomników przyrody,” passes through Kluczbork, Kuniów, Bażany, Borkowice, Zameczek, Bogacica, Smardy, Krzywizna and Łowkowice. The black route is 20.7 km long and passes through Bogacia, Kluczbork, Kujakowice Dolne, Biadacz and Bąków. Quest routes and city history
The “Spacerkiem przez Kluczbork” quest route leads through interesting parts of the city; participants can expect puzzles and surprises along the way. A second route, “Klucz do Kluczborka. Wyprawa przez wieki,” explores Kluczbork’s history and sights, as well as the city’s connections to beekeeping. The two quests therefore focus on different things: one centers on puzzles and surprises along the way, while the other explores historical themes and beekeeping.
A specific link to the city’s historic layout is the block of buildings comprising Kluczbork Town Hall and the surviving part of the townhouses known as “dwunastu apostołów.” The Polish name translates literally as “twelve apostles.” Together, the town hall and townhouses form a block within the historic urban fabric.
