Grzybno: Lake Białe, Beach and Walking Trails
Accommodation in Grzybno
In Grzybno, Lake Białe with its municipal beach and several trails come together as travel highlights. When looking for a hotel, you can choose a location based on whether you want to focus on the bathing area, a longer hiking route or a pilgrimage route.
Lake, Beach and Seasonal Amenities
Lake Białe near Grzybno lies along numerous tourist trails. At the municipal beach, the bathing area is supervised by lifeguards; the beach also has a paddling pool for small children. During the tourist season, there is a food stand there. As this amenity is seasonal, check its availability before your trip.
Hiking and Pilgrimage Routes
The almost 26-kilometre green-marked Kartuska Nature Trail runs from Kartuzy to Sianowo. It leads to Lake Białe, where swimming is possible, and continues from the lake via the Szarłata–Grzybno road to the village of Grzybno. This makes the distinction clear when choosing your route: the nature trail links the lake and village in one itinerary, while the pilgrimage route is identified by its own kilometre markers and the church.
The Pomeranian Way of St James also passes through Grzybno. Starting from Kartuzy, the village is at kilometre 6.0; at kilometre 6.5, the route passes the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The two kilometre markers therefore refer to two different points on the route: Grzybno itself and the church. This provides a practical point of reference if you would like to include the route’s spiritual significance in your plans.
Getting There by Bus
