Bieszkowice lies in a forested area of the Trójmiejski Landscape Park. Lake Zawiat is located west of the village. The forest landscape, the lake and the history of Bieszkowice offer different points of interest when planning a stay and looking for hotels at the destination.

Forest Landscapes and Lakes

The Trójmiejski Landscape Park is characterized by distinctive landforms created during the Ice Age. There are numerous small lakes in the park, including Lake Bieszkowickie. This park setting should be distinguished from Lake Zawiat, which lies west of Bieszkowice.

A stay by the water can also be combined with a visit to the bathing area at Lake Zawiat. It was open from July 1 to August 31, 2026. During this period, it had a beach, sanitary facilities and lifeguard supervision. If you are travelling outside this period, check the conditions in advance.

The Szlak Wejherowski and Local History

The red Szlak Wejherowski is 54.9 kilometres long in total and runs from Sopot Kamienny Potok to Wejherowo. In Bieszkowice, the trail follows the road and ul. Jeziorna; the route leads along ul. Jeziorna to Lake Zawiat. The total length and the sections through the village provide different reference points for planning your trip.

The village’s historical development is also clearly documented: Bieszkowice was first mentioned as a knight’s manor in 1400 and later became a grange situated between lakes. To this day, its settlement pattern is loosely distributed across smaller and larger forest clearings. It comprises traditional farmsteads as well as individual residential and farm buildings.

Accommodation and Surroundings

The “Bingo” holiday centre is located in the Trójmiejski Landscape Park, in a quiet zone and directly beside Lake Zawiat. Its surroundings include mixed forests and are considered peaceful. The “House near Lake Zawiat and Baltic Sea” accommodation in Bieszkowice offers a garden, a terrace and opportunities for water sports. These details describe the respective accommodation; they are not a guarantee of availability or the quality of activities.

Culture in the Wider Destination of Neustadt

In the wider destination of Neustadt, Wejherowo offers further points of interest related to culture and history. Kalwaria Wejherowska was the fourth Calvary complex to be established during the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. After Bishop Mikołaj Albert Gniewosz of Aleksandrów approved its construction on June 9, 1649, work began on its chapels.

The Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej in Wejherowo was founded in 1968. It is a treasure trove of regional artefacts and a centre of Kashubian culture, particularly the Kashubian language. In the Książnica prof. Gerarda Labudy, a permanent exhibition presents the history of the Kashubians. Models of the town and Kalwaria Wejherowska are displayed in Wejherowo’s historic town hall.

The Szlak Nut Kaszubskich is also a tourist attraction in Wejherowo. Fifteen pedestals displaying fragments of a traditional counting-out rhyme are located in different parts of the town; the route passes the main sights. Individual installations may change. The Muzeum Piaśnickie dedicates its permanent exhibition, spread over two floors, to the victims of the Pomeranian crimes, using the Piaśnica crime as an example. Relics of the Piaśnica crime are located in the basement.
