The swimming areas and cycle paths in three directions offer concrete points of reference. You can plan your stay around the activities that matter to you.

Beach and Swimming Areas

Łukęcin beach is sandy and has a picturesque cliff-lined shore. The sea cliff also forms the natural northern boundary of the town, making it a geographical point of reference. You can reach the beach via a forest path, along which you will need to walk several hundred metres. Factor this walk into your day’s plans if you want to combine a beach visit with other activities. The cliff and the forest path answer different questions: one shapes the coastal landscape, while the other describes access on foot.

The Łukęcin “Bajkowa” bathing area covers a 100-metre stretch of beach west of the access point on Bajkowa Street. Lifeguards supervise this section daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., from June 15 to August 31. Check these seasonal hours for the relevant year before your visit. The Łukęcin “Spacerowa” bathing area also covers a 100-metre stretch; it lies west of the access point at the extension of Spacerowa Street. Both sections are the same length, but they have different street access points.

Cycle Paths and Routes

Cycle paths lead in three directions from Łukęcin. The longest route described runs through a forest towards Dziwnówek. A recommended route to Kamień Pomorski runs through the forest towards Dziwnówek, branches off towards Radawka and continues to Wrzosowo. From there, a cycle path leads to Kamień Pomorski.

A third cycling option also leads to Kamień Pomorski via Dziwnówek and Wrzosowo. It runs through the forest as far as Dziwnówek; after that, it continues along a paved cycle path. Check current route conditions before setting out. Both routes lead to the same named destination, but differ in their waypoints and in their course up to the paved section.

The general reference to three directions provides an initial overview; the specific destinations make the two routes to Kamień Pomorski easier to picture. To compare them, look at the intermediate places and the described transition from forest to paved path. This makes it possible to identify a particular tour by its route rather than choosing based only on direction.

These are different points of reference for planning your trip: for the beach, consider the walk and the swimming areas; for cycling, consider the destinations and the route. If you are looking for hotels in Łukęcin, you can decide in advance whether a beach visit or a particular cycling tour will play a greater role in your stay.
