Elviria brings together specific beach, leisure and golf interests to consider when planning a trip. When looking for a hotel, think about which of these will shape your stay: Playa Las Chapas, Aventura Amazonia, Greenlife Golf and Santa Maria Golf & Country Club each offer something different. You can also include the Girouette sculpture and the Mercadillo Ecológico in the Pinar de Elviria in your travel plans.

Beach and access

Playa Las Chapas (Elviria) has soft sand that is suitable for walking barefoot. It is easily accessible on foot and by car. This means you can take both the type of beach and the access options mentioned into account when planning your visit. Access arrangements may change, so check the current conditions before you go.

Adventure courses and golf

At Aventura Amazonia in Elviria, the adventure park offers zip lines and suspension bridges. In total, 103 challenges and 24 zip lines are spread across six courses: MiniKids, Kids, Explorer, Jungle, Adventure and Sports. There are also three beginner courses. An admission ticket allows you to use the multi-adventure courses for three hours. This duration is a specific factor to consider when planning, alongside your choice of courses. Course configurations and ticket conditions may change; check them before your visit.

Greenlife Golf in Elviria Hills is a 9-hole, par-3 golf course measuring 1,142 metres. Water comes into play on holes 1, 2, 5 and 9; palm trees and oaks characterize the vegetation. Santa Maria Golf & Country Club in Elviria has an 18-hole course with views of the Mediterranean. The number of holes provides a clear point of comparison; for Greenlife, the par-3 format and length are also specified, while Santa Maria is described as offering Mediterranean views.

Santa Maria Golf & Country Club welcomes both members and visitors to its facilities. Visitor policies may change, so it is worth checking the current conditions before your visit. The clubhouse is an impressive 19th-century cortijo with distinctive Andalusian architecture and extensive gardens. So, in addition to the course features, the setting also offers a connection to historic architecture.

Art and local character

At the entrance to Elviria stands Girouette, a steel sculpture ensemble about 12 metres high, made up of three moving parts. It was created in 1963 by Phillippe Hiquily (1925–2013). Its approximate height, material and moving parts characterize the work; its year of creation places it in time.

The Mercadillo Ecológico in the Pinar de Elviria is a mobile organic market run by the Asociación Guadalhorce Ecológico. It offers certified organic products as well as local and seasonal freshly harvested produce. The selection may vary from one market date to another. If you would like to include the market in your plans, check the current date in advance.
