Warren offers several starting points for planning a stay: events at City Square, parks with a range of facilities, a veterans memorial, and a civic theater. If you’re looking for a hotel in Warren, you can first decide whether a specific event, outdoor activities, or culture will be your main focus. This can help you tailor your choices to your travel dates and interests.

Events in Warren

The City Square Street Fair was scheduled for summer 2026 at Warren City Square, on the first Wednesday of each month from June through September. For future trips, please check that year’s dates and whether the event will continue. The 2026 edition was set to feature food trucks and free children’s activities, including airbrush face painting, bounce houses, games, and crafts. The selection of food trucks and children’s activities may vary from one edition to another.

City Square Park is the setting for many of Warren’s major special events. The Farmers Market was added as an attraction in 2007.

Parks and Activities

Eckstein Park is a 13.8-acre recreation area in Warren with baseball and football fields, a playground, and walking paths. Eckstein Skatepark covers more than 40,000 square feet.

Anne Fracassa Memorial Dog Park is located in Burdi Park. A six-foot-high fence encloses a one-acre area, which also has a water supply, several park benches, dog waste bag dispensers, and a secure entrance. Check the current access requirements before visiting, as eligibility and fees may change.

The parks offer different facilities depending on the activity you have in mind: Eckstein Park focuses on fields, a playground, and walking paths, while Anne Fracassa Memorial Dog Park offers an enclosed area and amenities for dogs.

A brochure revised in January 2022 lists lap swimming and a lazy river at the Warren Community Center Aquatic Center. Check the current schedule before visiting. Warren Parks and Recreation provides information about water aerobics and swimming lessons in its Aquatics program. This program information complements the center’s swimming options with classes and exercise activities.

Memorial and Theater

All Veterans Memorial offers visitors a peaceful experience. It includes a 5,000-square-foot plaza, three war memorials, 16 dedicated park benches, a memorial wall, and three flagpoles. The size of the plaza and its various memorial features provide specific points of reference for a visit. The memorial offers a different focus from the city’s event and sports facilities.

Warren Civic Theatre produces, promotes, and presents all aspects of theater arts in the community. It works with professional and amateur artists, as well as talent from the region and across the country. Its mission therefore encompasses both artistic work and its presentation to the community.
