When looking for a hotel in Stateline, you can consider the occasion and time of year: the Tahoe Blue Event Center hosts several types of events, while the trail, lakeside road, and seasonal activities raise different planning questions. First decide whether an event date, an outdoor activity, or a seasonal experience will shape your stay. Then you can compare the options by type, length, and time of year.

Events and getting your bearings

The Tahoe Blue Event Center is located in the Stateline, Nevada area, near South Lake Tahoe. It opened in September 2023 and has flexible arena spaces for concerts, comedy shows, family shows, sporting events, and other events. Depending on the event, it can accommodate up to 5,200 people. Its uses range from concerts to sports; if your stay revolves around a specific program, the event date is a useful planning anchor. Check the program dates before planning your hotel stay around them.

Getting there and routes

Effective January 4, 2026, the eastbound Route 55 ends at the Stateline Transit Center. There, passengers can transfer to the eastbound Route 50 to the Kingsbury Transit Center. Check the schedule before traveling.

The Lam Watah Nature Trail, also known as Rabe Meadows, is a 2.8-mile loop near Stateline. The trail area was used as a campsite for more than 1,000 years, giving the loop a specific historical connection. Seasonal conditions and access may change; check before visiting. The Lake Tahoe National Scenic Byway is a 28-mile lakeside road from Stateline to Crystal Bay. The two options differ in format: one is a loop trail, the other a lakeside road with the stated endpoints. Van Sickle is just a short walk from the Stateline casinos.

Seasonal activities and local flavor

Edgewood on Ice is a seasonal, weather-dependent ice-skating experience at 180 Lake Parkway in Stateline. Heavenly Village Mini Golf is a seasonal 18-hole mini golf course in Stateline; during the summer months, it is open day and night, though dates and hours may change. For your travel dates, the distinction is practical: weather matters for ice skating as well as the season, while the mini golf course is associated with summer. Check the relevant conditions before visiting, and check current dates and hours for mini golf.
