Tullahoma, Tennessee, offers museums, performing arts, greenways, and aviation history sites. When choosing a hotel, decide what you want to focus on during your stay: a room near a museum is not necessarily convenient for an outing in nature in Coffee County. Check the exact address, room availability, and terms for your travel dates.

Museums, Art, and Local History

The Beechcraft Heritage Museum traces the development of the Beechcraft brand. Every year, it hosts the Beech Party during the second week of October. If you plan to attend this gathering, confirm the dates and participation requirements for that particular year. The Hands-On Science Center offers interactive exhibits and STEM programs. The South Jackson Performing Arts Center presents a variety of programs for the community each year. The Baillet Memorial Gallery displays objects and artifacts from the Baillet family, including original oil paintings of family members. These museums and venues cover different subjects; none of their offerings are included in the hotel price unless explicitly stated.

In History Park, also known as Caboose Park, there is a 1964 L&N caboose. Every year on March 29, a Vietnam Veterans Day memorial event is held there. The historic railcar is a location-specific point of interest, while the event is date-dependent. Before traveling specifically for the event, check the current program and access arrangements.

Trails, Waterfalls, and Sports

The Rock Creek Greenway offers three miles of ADA-compliant paths for walking and cycling along a stream in Tullahoma. East Park Arboretum has a 27-hole disc golf course. Arnold Golf Course is a family-friendly nine-hole course that may be open year-round, depending on the weather. Contact the respective operators for specific playing times and fees; a hotel booking does not guarantee a tee time.

Short Springs is a 420-acre natural area in Coffee County, approximately three and a half miles northeast of Tullahoma. There, Machine Falls drops more than 60 feet. Upper and Lower Busby Falls can be seen from overlooks along the Bobo Creek Trail. The natural area is therefore not right next to every hotel in town. Check trail conditions and your route rather than treating the waterfalls as a hotel amenity.

Aviation and Accommodation

Skydive Tennessee operates at Tullahoma Regional Airport and also offers tandem jumps for beginners. A jump requires a separate booking and compliance with current requirements. An archived T-201 aircraft hangar was built in 1941 at what was then Tullahoma Army Base, now the Regional Airport. This historical connection does not indicate scheduled passenger service or public access to a hangar.

Compare hotel options with museum schedules, nature trails, or airport activities. Pay attention to location, total price, and cancellation policies. The Coffee County overview offers a broader search area without assuming how far individual accommodations are from these destinations.
