Hilton plans to create more than 8500 jobs in Europe over the next three years. Additional 2 500 jobs will be saved by converting existing hotels under the Hilton Worldwide brand.

Nowadays Hilton is developing 110 hotels in the region. For these hotels the global hotel chain will attract employees all over Europe focusing on strategic such markets as Great Britain, Russia, Turkey, Germany and Poland. Most of 110 hotels are to be opened untill the end of 2014.

Simon Vincent, the president of Hilton Worldwide in Europe, said: "While unemployment in Europe continues to grow, Hilton Worldwide is actively developing, which allows us to create excellent career opportunities. Hotel owners and developers are interested in our world-class brands and so attracting and preserving the best talented staff is our primary objective. We strive to lead in this area and are working hard to ensure that this advantage will be successful during the period of growth".

Russia will become one of the Hilton priority areas. According to the plans of opening 25 new hotels over the next 3 years, the hotel chain is going to create up to 3000 new jobs. Until 2014 Hilton plans to open hotels in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Volgograd, Voronezh and Perm.

Approximately 1,500 people will be able to start a new career in Hilton Worldwide hotels in the UK, where more than 20 hotels will be opened. 1900 jobs will be retained by rebranding 10 existing hotels and including them into the Hilton Worldwide chain.

About 800 jobs will be created in Turkey, where in 2014 14 hotels are planned to be opened. More than 400 new jobs will be created in three new hotels in Germany, and about 750 jobs - in 11 new hotels in Poland.
