Saint-Cyprien offers several concrete starting points for planning your trip: the seafront, a trail by the lagoon, a nature park, sports activities and local heritage. You can focus your stay on the themes that matter to you. Walking, nature, exercise and culture offer different ways to experience the destination.

Seafront and trails

The Baladoir is a pedestrian promenade along the seafront, from the northern beach area to the port. The Sentier du littoral offers a different experience: this 2-kilometre walking trail runs alongside the lagoon. The main factor in choosing between the two is the landscape – the seafront for the Baladoir, the lagoon for the Sentier. If you need a distance, one is provided for the Sentier; the Baladoir’s endpoints are identified as running from the northern beach area to the port.

Saint-Cyprien also lies along the EuroVelo 8 route and its local extension, EuroVelo 8 bis. For cycle tourists, this is a different point of reference from the two walking trails: what matters here is that it forms part of a named cycling route. As routes may change, check the current alignment before setting out.

Nature and exercise

The 6-hectare Parc de la Prade lies between the village and the beach. It includes three bodies of water, home to a wide variety of wildlife, and shaded paths. Playgrounds, a fitness trail and a multi-sport court add practical leisure facilities to this natural setting. The park therefore brings together an interest in scenery and exercise in one place. Its facilities let you choose your focus: nature, a walk or active leisure.

Another sporting option is the Saint-Cyprien golf course. It covers 200 hectares between the sea, the lagoon and a bird sanctuary. Facilities include an 18-hole course, a 9-hole course and a practice area. Both course lengths are part of the same golf offering, with a choice between 18 or 9 holes; the practice area provides an additional option.

For water sports, several water sports centres in Saint-Cyprien rent out SUP equipment by the hour or by the day. The rental period gives you a specific timeframe for this activity. As participating providers may change, check with the centres in advance to find out what is available during your visit.

Heritage and festivals

The restored Romanesque Chapelle de Villerase is a testament to Saint-Cyprien’s medieval heritage. Access to the chapel is currently protected. If you would like to visit, check its current access status in advance.

The Festa Major, Saint-Cyprien’s patron saint festival, is part of the cultural calendar. It usually takes place on the second weekend of September. If you would like to plan your trip around the festival, check the specific dates for your travel year before you go.
