Walking trails and attractions in the wider Piaseczyński destination

In the wider Piaseczyński destination, walking trails vary in both length and route. The 10-kilometer Chojnowski szlak zabytków przyrody runs through the Chojnów, Pilawski Grąd, and Uroczysko Stephana nature reserves. The 28-kilometer, yellow-marked Szlak Południkowy starts at Piaseczno railway station and passes through Zalesie Dolne, Górki Szymona, Zimne Doły, Zalesie Górne, the Łoś nature reserve, and Nowy Prażmów before reaching Prażmów. The 30-kilometer Szlak rezerwatów przyrody connects Zalesie Górne and Zimne Doły, several nature reserves, and Konstancin-Jeziorna, and continues on to Ursynów.

Another route option is the 24.5-kilometer, yellow-and-green-marked trail from Konstancin-Jeziorna to Góra Kalwaria and Czersk. It starts at the corner of Piłsudskiego and Sienkiewicza streets in Konstancin-Jeziorna and passes through the Obory nature reserve, Słomczyn, Cieciszew, and Dębówka. Information about length and route helps distinguish these regional trails from one another, without conflating them with the offerings in Bobrowiec.

The Chojnowski Landscape Park has seven marked hiking trails, as well as a network of educational trails for pedestrians and cyclists. The park’s eleven nature reserves may only be visited via existing paths and marked hiking trails.

Czersk Castle and Jezioro Czerskie are also part of the wider Piaseczyński destination. The medieval Gothic castle was built by Duke Janusz the Elder around the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries on the site of an earlier fortification. Jezioro Czerskie lies at the foot of the castle on its eastern side; the former Vistula oxbow lake is fully protected as a natural monument.
