Places for exercise and gathering
The multi-purpose sports court is a notable recreation facility. In Łysokanie, it was built with lighting, drainage and fencing, and has playing areas for football, basketball, tennis, volleyball and handball. An outdoor fitness area was also built, along with a fenced playground. The court’s multi-purpose nature comes from its different playing areas; the fitness area and playground are separate spaces for physical activity.
A gathering area furnished with benches offers a different focus. It was created as a place for people to meet, setting it apart from the sports and exercise facilities. A car park with nine spaces was also built in Łysokanie, including one space for people with disabilities.
The chapel and community life

The Święto Łysokań is also part of the community’s local life. The Łysokanie Sołectwo, together with the Kłaj Municipality Development Association, invited residents from across the municipality to the Święto Łysokań. The invitation thus extended beyond the sołectwo to the municipality as a whole. Local history and settlement pattern
The municipal local history records 1384 as the first documented mention of Łysokanie. Ownership changed several times thereafter: until the 15th century, the lands belonged to various owners before passing to the Lanckoroński family. In the 17th century, part of the village passed to the Żeleński family; in 1837, the family also purchased the remaining land and incorporated it into the Grodkowice estate. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Żeleńskis sold most of their landholdings. In the east, an area of around 45 hectares with detached and holiday homes was developed on former allotment land. The municipal website describes the buildings along the main road as predominantly newer houses in the villa style.
